EASY Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sandwiches

I love this meal! It's delicious, super simple, and the clean up is a breeze. You basically put it in the crock pot and forget about it! If your family is as busy as mine its nice to enjoy a home cooked meal without much effort. My family loves my pulled pork sandwiches and have no clue how simple it is! This is a fool proof recipe even the most novice cooks can master.

Place your roast, onion, and Dr.Pepper{Root Beer works too} in your crock pot.
Set on low and cook for 6-10 hours.

Remove the roast on to your cutting board. The meat is extra tender at this point so you can literally shred the meat by pulling it off the bone...hints the name pulled pork. Make sure to thoroughly remove the bones.

Discard the onion and liquid left in the crock pot, then add your shredded pork back into the pot.

Add your favorite BBQ sauce to the shredded pork. I use a full bottle then add addition sauce when I serve my sandwich, but add as little or as much as you like.

Make sure every last piece of roast is coated in sauce... let no piece go without!!

Pile high on bun of choice. These sandwiches are extra yummy topped with freshly sliced onions or coleslaw.

The man in your life will be more than impressed when you bring this hearty sandwich to the table!! He doesn't need to know how fool proof this recipe is!!! Serve on a piece of butcher paper for easy clean up and a real Texas BBQ joint feel.
