Lovely Card Display!

Awhile back I order these really fun cards for the shop and they have just been sitting in the box in the back collecting dust! I wanted to come up with a display that would showcase these eclectic beauties... At first I thought I could use an old shutter but I already have a shutter display... Then I remembered this fabulous frame that was piled in my garage with all my other "I'll get to you one day projects !"

I wiped it down really well.

Then measured the width of the frame marking every five inches. I did this to both sides of the frame.
I gently placed a small nail on each of the spots I marked.

Then, I took some wire and wrapped about an inch around one of the nails.

I pulled the wire tightly and wrapped the nail directly across from the first nail. Clipped and repeated to the rest of the nails .
Lastly, I flipped it over and using a small paint brush roughly covered the frame with turquoise paint. I applied a shear coat of paint so that the fabulous gold could still shine through.

Aren't these cards so fun!!

It turned out better than I expected! This worked out great for the shop! It also could be used as an inspiration board, memo board, picture display or holiday card display!!

It was nice chatting with y'all!! Did you like this tutorial? I'd love to know leave me a comment below!!
